Christian rides the bike on the dock

Last year, after Christian's surgery in August 2007, he watched the ship's kids riding bicycles on the dock as he looked down from Deck 7 on the Africa Mercy! This year, Christian and his uncle came back to visit and Christian was able to ride one of the bicycles for himself. You may remember the picture of him as Daniel, one of the children on the ship, gave him a ride on the back of the bicycle just before Christian left the ship on his crutches to go home, about 4 weeks after his surgery on his foot.
