Hurricane Felix and Central America
Our friends in Central America are dealing again with a hurricane which could cause potential disaster and Mercy Ships has it's eyes open for potential needs in the area. In 2004, we were in an area of Honduras with the Caribbean Mercy Ship that was hard hit by Hurricane Mitch in 1998, six years prior. The devastation was still quite evident. Mitch to was downgraded, but lingered over the area dumping much rain and causing flooding and mudslides. We pray that Hurricane Felix will pass on by and not be a storm of note.
