This is a brief video of part of the 2 mile walk on the bottom of the sea to Holy Island. You may only walk at certain times during the low tide when the bottom is mainly dry. The walk took us about 2 hours to walk on Good Friday 2006. This is Penny crossing a small stream of water that we couldn't find a way around. The wind is blowing about 40 mph and the temperature was about 8 degrees Celcius, without factoring the wind chill in. The water was VERY cold! This was a beautiful day to take the walk. The sun was shining for some of the day! When the sea is in...the bottom is covered with about 6 feet of North Sea!
