Hello Friends!
The time on outreach in Puerto Castilla, Honduras has passed so quickly. Today, the last of our short term volunteers fly home. This is a bitter-sweet time. We are excited for our newly formed friends as they do the last minute packing and receive the final hugs and kisses before boarding the bus which will take them to begin their journey home. We trust that we will see each other again, some sooner than others and we know that this has to be. However, for those of us remaining it reminds us of the loved ones so far away and sometimes seldom seen. We don’t regret being here or being committed to full-time missionary work. There is no other job we would rather have. We are still living our dream and feel we are in the center of God’s will for our lives. We thank each of you, our friends and family, for being a part of the dream and for allowing us to share it with you!

As we write you today, the last surgeries for this outreach have been done, the various departments have tallied the statistics and the last boxes are being loaded into the cargo hold, and we prepare for sailing. Our destination is first to Cozumel, Mexico for a few days of rest and relaxation. Then we continue on to our next Port-of-Call Galveston, Texas. We are to be there for 29 days. During this time we will be gathering and loading humanitarian relief supplies to take to St. Marc, Haiti. Do you remember the previous newsletter earlier this year when we reported to you, how the demonic strongholds were being torn down? There was to be a celebration and recommitment of the nation to the devil and Voodoo worship at the site of the previous pact with the devil 200 years earlier. This was prayed against and in fact defeated. There has since been a Christian President installed and prayer in the Capital. What a victory! Now the nation is in need of relief from recent natural disasters that have left many without homes or any form of shelter. We are very blessed to serve in this capacity. We have already begun to see how God is working in preparation for us to take relief supplies to Haiti!
We will then return to Galveston, Texas to re-supply and prepare for a return outreach back in Puerto Castilla, Honduras. We are so excited to be able to return and continue the work that has begun. There are many relationships that have been established and efforts that are beginning to bear results. We will depart Galveston, Texas on September 21st and are planning to remain in Honduras until mid December. We are hoping to return to a USA port for Christmas.
We hope you are enjoying looking at the website and all the pictures! We think it is important to share these with you … so you can see what God is doing through you! We pray for you and think of you often, as we close this newsletter our constant prayer for you is this... “That your life will be as wonderful as it was in the mind of God the day He made you!”
God’s blessings,
Rob and Denise

Thank you for all of your blessings on our 31st Anniversary! Rob surprised me with notes from many of our friends and family! Also, he surprised me with a wonderful CHOCOLATE cake with FUDGE CHOCOLATE frosting! Yum Yum! Tyrone, our 5 star Chef, baked it and it was wonderful!! Actually...he baked two of them that day, because he baked one and it accidentally was served at lunch time to the crew! So...Tyrone baked another one to surprise me that evening after dinner!
